Berlin’s Blub - An Abandoned Water Park

The Berliner Luft- und Badeparadies (Berlin Air and Bathing Paradise), or Blub for short, opened in 1985 and used to attract some 600,000 visitors a year. Along with the crowds and inadequate maintenance, rats started to descend on the Bathing Paradise, forcing it to shut down in 2002. After years of decay and neglect, Blub is now home to sprawling graffiti, high school partiers and the forces of nature.
